Roman coin: dupondius of Marcus Aurelieus
Description
English: A copper-alloy dupondius of Marcus Aurelius (AD 139-180); PRIMI DECENNALES reverse; minted at Rome, AD 170-171*; RIC Vol. II, p. 293, nos. 1004 or 1008. The coin has a dark green patina and is slightly worn and corroded. It measures 24.9mm in diameter, 3.7mm thick and weighs 11.44g.
