English: Roman or Medieval lead alloy and iron steelyard weight, 35mm high and 41mm in diameter. The object is in fair condition with a grey patina and weighs 269grams. The object is 'pear shaped' in form with an upper surface that tapers to a point around an iron rod, which would have formed a suspension loop.
