English: A Roman lead biconical steel-yard weight (circa 43-410 AD). A small fragment of the iron loop remains at one tip. In plan the weight is sub-octagonal in shape. There are some surface losses due to relatively modern damage. Dimensions: length 48mm; diameter 58.37mm; weight 671g
