English: Late Iron Age to Roman cosmetic mortar of the centre-looped type. It is very worn and corroded and boat-shaped centre-looped (49 x 15mm), very broad shallow U-shaped groove (width 19mm). Weight 25.27g. Cf. Jackson 1985. 1st-2nd century AD. |
