| Description | Mirror type dinghies sailing on the calm azure Mediterranean Sea. Most of the sailors would be youngsters as the boats are relatively small but they give their handlers an idea of the work which goes into sailing bigger vessels. There are various clubs in Malta which foster this interest in sailing to youngsters who might in the future become Malta’s sailing aficionados. Sailing has an advantage over motor boats as they are quieter and the sailors can feel the wavelets breaking on their boat’s side. There are other types of sailing boats like the Miracle and Laser sections. The interest in sailing is on the increase and Malta would harvest the result of this budding interest in having more enterprising sailors in the near future. - MALTA |
