Français : Radiotélégraphie: système de communication optique expérimenté à bord du HMS Scylla vers 1898. Le capitaine Percy Scott à bord du HMS Scylla améliora les systèmes radiotélégraphiques existants en plaçant une série de lattes comme pour un store vénitien devant une source lumineuse ici un miroir réfléchissant le soleil; lorsque l’opérateur actionne une manette, les lattes tournent radialement au miroir et donc l’expose, lorsqu’il relâche la touche la lumière réfléchit est obscurcie. |
