SOM-24FCB7: Post-Medieval double loop asymmetrical buckle
Description
English: Copper alloy Post-Medieval double loop asymmetrical buckle, dating to c.1575-1700. Two knops on the outer corners of the rounded loop and one either side of the bar. Several grooves decorating the longer edge of the sub-rectangular loop. The pin is missing. This may have been iron, as rust coloured errosion can be seen on the outer surface of the bar. Tinned.
