ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre: The Brennpunkt Arkivet: Occupation, Resistance, Captivity, and Collaboration in Agder 1940-1945 is a permanent exhibition situated in the basement, which served as the headquarters of the Gestapo and witnessed harsh interrogations during World War II. SS dagger. This was Gestapo chief Rudolf Kerner's personal SS dagger. Several years after the war, the dagger was found buried in the garden outside the residence that Kerner had requisitioned at Bellevue 21 in Kristiansand.
