Description
English: CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – In NASA Kennedy Space Center's Space Station Processing Facility, an overhead crane lifts the Express Logistics Carrier, or ELC, from a work stand. The ELC is being moved to a rotation stand. The carrier is part of the STS-129 payload on space shuttle Atlantis, which will deliver to the International Space Station two spare gyroscopes, two nitrogen tank assemblies, two pump modules, an ammonia tank assembly and a spare latching end effector for the station's robotic arm. STS-129 is targeted to launch Nov. 12.
