The original finding aid described this as: Description: Various views of members of the STS-61 crew helping prepare Mission specialists F. Story Musgrave and Jeff Hoffman for an extravehicular activity (EVA) while on the Endeavour's middeck. Views include: Musgrave and Hoffman attach sensors before donning their extravehicular mobility units (EMU) (008-10). Mission specialist Tom Akers is photographed in the airlock with a piece of an extravehicular mobility unit (EMU) (011). Musgrave smiles for the camera as he floats in the middeck wearing a liquid cooling and ventilation garment (LCVG) and the bottom half of his EMU (012). Akers assists Musgrave in donning his EMU (013-5). Hoffman floats in the middeck wearing his EMU minus his helmet (016). Mission specialist Kathryn Thornton is photographed on the middeck with pieces of an EMU floating around her (017). Thornton assists Musgrave in donning his EMU (018). Mission specialist Claude Nicollier is photographed on the middeck near the galley (019). Blurred view through the airlock of Musgrave and Hoffman in their EMU's (020-1).
