| Description |
Deutsch: Die Saalenbergkapelle steht oberhalb der Gemeinde Sölden im Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, am Westabfall des Südlichen Schwarzwalds. Das schlichte Gebäude, mit polygonalem Chorschluss und einem Dachreiter mit markanten spitzen Helm, ließ die leidgeprüfte Bäuerin des Schwabenhofes, Fides Franz, im Jahr 1875 zu Ehren der „Schmerzhaften Mutter Gottes“ errichten, nachdem ihre ganze Familie innerhalb weniger Jahre verstorben war. |
