Ausgezeichnet mit dem Grand prix, Weltausstellung 1900.
Alle Ausstellungs-Pavillons der Pariser Kürschner waren im selben Styl und ungefähr derselben Grösse und Form, wie der vorstehende Pavillon des obengenannten Hauses.

Bildunterschrift:
Der Centrumsartikel dieser Ausstellung war das kostbarste Stück Kürschnerarbeit der ganzen Ausstellung, und vielleicht auch aller bisherigen Weltausstellungen.

Fig. 2 zeigt dieses Kapitalstück, eine Redingote aus russischem Zobel, dessen Werth auf 75.000 Franken geschätzt wurde. Imponierend besonders für den Fachmann; sowohl seiner Form wegen, als Ausführung und Wahl des Materials, bedauern wir dass die fotographische Reproduktion uns ungenügend gestattet sich ein klares Bild von dem eigentlichen Effekte dieser Arbeit machen zu können. Das ganze Stück war in 4 Fellhöhen gearbeitet, von denen die obere das Empiecement mit dem äusseren Kragen bildete und durch ein querstehendes Fell von der 2. Zeile getrennt war. Diese 2. Höhe war am meisten ausgelassen so dass die Felle 60 cm erreichten. Die Felle der 3. Zeile waren mehr in natürlicher Form und trugen wie die der 2. Zeile, die Schweife. Die Aermel waren aus einer Höhe und hatten ein fellbreites Volant querlaufend als Abschluss. Die Revers reichten bis zur Taille und waren in Jabotform, doppelt Pelz. Obwohl das Material, das eigentlich schon etwas rauch ist, sich nur wenig für ganze Kleidungsstücke eignet, war dennoch auch in dieser Beziehung ein vollkommengünstiges Resultat erzielt worden.
