Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A Fire Salamander in his natural habitat on the afternoon of a rainy day. Encountered at approximately 900 m (2950 feet) above sea level on the South slope of the Weissenstein, a mountain on the Jura range in Switzerland, on the territory of Oberdorf, a municipality in the canton of Solothurn. I took this photograph on October 6, 2004 with an Olympus C750 UZ digital camera. The camera was stabilized to allow for a long exposure time without blur. Fortunately, the Salamander didn't move during the shot.

Der Salamander hat sich glücklicherweise während der Aufnahme nicht bewegt.
