Description
Deutsch: Das Pfarrhaus das katholischen St.-Anna-Kirche in der St.-Annen-Straße 43 in St. Wendel. Der moderne Bau wurde 1929/1930 nach Plänen von Hans Herkommer errichtet und überstand im Gegensatz zum benachbarten, gleichzeitig errichteten Kirchenbau Herkommers den Zweiten Weltkrieg. (Die heutige Kirche ist ein Neubau aus den Jahren 1948-1954.) Das Pfarrhaus ist als Einzeldenkmal denkmalgeschützt.
English: The rectory of the catholic St. Anna Church at St.-Annen-Straße 43 in St. Wendel. This modern building was constructed from 1929 till 1930 to a design by Hans Herkommer. Unlike the neighboring church, constructed at the same time and also designed by Herkommer, the building survived WW II. (The new St. Anna Church was built from 1948 till 1954.) The rectory has been designated as a cultural heritage monument.
