Photograph of Santa Barbara Sheriff E.W. Bisealuz(?) riding in a Fiesta celebration, 1938. The sheriff is mounted at center and is dressed in traditional vaquero garb. His horse is trotting to the left and is sporting the tack of a ranch horse. There is a large crowd of people gathered around to watch in the background. Behind them is a large adobe building with bleachers at right. Written in the bottom right corner of the image are the words "To the greatest gang in the world the 'Uplifters' in appreciation. E.E. Bisealuz[?] Sheriff 1938".
