Description
Deutsch: Zwei Linden bei Schloss Reichersbeuern (Schloss Sigriz), Reichersbeuern: beide Bäume, von Norden gesehen.
Die Bäume stehen vor der Nord- bzw. Eingangsseite des Schlosses auf dem ebenen Vorplatz (heute Parkplatz). Der östliche ist höher und wirkt durch seine verkahlende Krone kränklich; der westliche ist niedriger, mit dichterer, kugeliger Krone. An ihm sind eine Informationstafel und ein Kruzifix angebracht. Laut Informationstafel soll es sich zumindest bei diesem Baum um eine Sommerlinde (Tilia platyphyllos) handeln.
Die Linden sind als geschützte Naturdenkmäler ausgewiesen, siehe Liste der Naturdenkmäler im Landkreis Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.
Wenn ich recht sehe, ist die westliche Linde bereits auf dem Kupferstich von Michael Wening (1701) dargestellt. Auf der Informationstafel ist zu lesen, sie sei über 500 Jahre alt.
