Description
Nederlands: Sculpturengroep 'De Fraters' van Alex Schalken; 3 figuren op de rotonde Hertogensingel / Koornstraat/ Singel 1940-1945 in Oss. In de volksmond wordt het kunstwerk de "voetballende fraters" genoemd. Alhoewel dit niet de officiële naam is, verwijst dit wel naar de inspiratiebron voor het kunstwerk. O.a. initiatiefnemer Henk Schueler had herinneringen aan voetbalpartijtjes tussen fraters gekleed in zwarte pij; tijdens de 99 jaar dat ze actief waren in Oss.
