English: The first gasoline-powered motorcycle was built in Germany in 1885. By 1910, their popularity had boomed all over the world. In this photo, taken around 1914, the members of Seattle's first motorcycle club gather near Volunteer Park to have their picture taken.
This is not merely "near" but in Volunteer Park, looking south out of the park along 14th Avenue East. |
