Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Seattle, Washington, looking north from the Hoge Building circa 1915. Prominent in foreground is the Burke Building in Richardsonian Romanesque style. That entire block was torn down in the 1960s to build the Federal Building (now Henry M. Jackson Federal Building). Elements of the Burke Building remain as decoration on the plaza of that later building. Seattle Public Library says circa 1913 and attributes it to Nowell & Rognon.
