English: Anders Wilse photographed many parts of Seattle's waterfront. This photo, taken on a quiet afternoon between 1897 and 1900, shows a section of docks with many small skiffs and fishing boats. A schooner sits with sails partially raised. Several barges are loaded with piles of nets for catching salmon.
