Description U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry walks against a backdrop of Mount Erebus and the hut in Cape Royds, Antarctica, where explorer Ernest Shackleton and 14 other men lived in 1908, as the Secretary headed for a penguin rookery while he conducted a helicopter tour of U.S. research facilities around Ross Island and the Ross Sea on November 11, 2016, and visited the McMurdo Station in an effort to learn about the effects of climate change on the Continent.
