Description |
English: Copper-alloy suspension mount for a horse-harness pendant. It has a solid upper part, D-shaped in cross-section, which has a squarish lobe pierced for a rivet and above this a tapering, slightly flatter, terminal. Below the squarish lobe is a flatter area which has been folded under to hold the hinge bar, and into which a slot has been cut for the loop of a pendant. Corrosion in the fold may be from an iron bar. There are traces of silvering on the mount. |
