Summary

[edit]
Description

Hand captioned "Indian Drink Shop". See notes for transcription of signs. The location is from the main shop sign. I have just spotted that Hurdeo Dass is still trading - see www.hotfrog.in/companies/Hurdeo-Dass

This is one of a selection of lantern slides dating I estimate to c. 1900. The set appears to be a personal collection, with items connected to Northern Ireland, missionary work, the YMCA, and India
