Das ehemalige Krematorium Wedding in Berlin. Offensichtlich hatte man keine Probleme damit, diesen Ort zu entwidmen und einer privaten Nutzung zuzuführen.

In anderen Kulturen wäre die Verwendung eines Ortes, an dem zigtausende Menschen durch Feuer bestattet wurden als Festspielgelände wohl als Sakrileg angesehen worden - aber nicht in Berlin.

Daß sich die Trägerfirma in bewußter Anspielung auf den Film "Soylent Green"-( in dem Menschen zu Nahrung für Menschen verarbeitet werden) "Silent Green" nennt, empfinde ich persönlich als zynisch und menschenverachtend. Die Betreiber fanden das wohl lustig. Und das Land Berlin hat mal wieder eh nix kapiert - Hauptsache die Kasse stimmte. 

Und wer verbrannt wurde kann sich nicht im Grabe umdrehen - so what ? Wer verstehen will, was hier angerichtet wurde, sollte sich das Krematorium Wilmersdorf und das dortige Kolumbarium ansehen.

In other cultures, the use of a place where tens of thousands of people were buried by fire as a festival site would have been regarded as sacrilege - but not in Berlin.

I personally find it cynical and contemptuous of human beings that the supporting company, deliberately alluding to the film "Soylent Green" (in which people are processed into food for people), calls itself "Silent Green". The operators thought it was funny. And the state of Berlin didn't get the message anyway - as long as the cash register was right. 

And who was burned cannot turn in his grave - so what ?

Dans d'autres cultures, l'utilisation d'un lieu où des dizaines de milliers de personnes ont été enterrées par le feu comme lieu de fête aurait été considérée comme un sacrilège, mais pas à Berlin.

Personnellement, je trouve cynique et méprisant à l'égard des êtres humains que la société de soutien, faisant délibérément allusion au film "Soylent Green" (dans lequel les gens sont transformés en nourriture pour les gens), se dise "Silent Green". Les opérateurs ont trouvé ça drôle. Et le Land de Berlin n'a pas compris le message de toute façon - tant que la caisse enregistreuse était correcte.
