Description
Deutsch: Silo-LKW für Sand auf Mercedes-Benz LA, diente zum Auffüllen von Sandvorratskisten der Trambahnen in München (diese wiederum benötigten den Sand zur Abbremsen). Dieses Fahrzeug war von 1965 bis 1999 in Verwendung, die Kugelform gab es in der Nachfolge nicht mehr)
English: Silo for sand on a Mercedes-Benz LA, served to fill sand supply boxes of trams in Munich (which in turn required the sand for braking). This vehicle was in use from 1965 to 1999, and is now displayed in the MVG museum.
