Description
English: An early-medieval silver penny of Offa of Mercia (757-96), Heavy Coinage (c792-6), mint: London, moneyer: Dud. New type for the Heavy Coinage and Dud with a new style of reverse design (see notes below). Ref: Naismith and Naylor 2012, no. 22.

The coin is incomplete, missing much of the edge although it is otherwise showing little wear.
