Description Fiji’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice, the Honourable Siromi Turaga at the first-ever Pacific Regional Forum on National Human Rights Institutions (NHRI) organsied by USAID Pacific Islands' PROJECT Governance program, organised by USAID Senior Advisor, Michael Glees and the SPC with representatives from 15-Pacific Island countries gathered for the first-ever Pacific Regional Forum on National Human Rights Institutions (NHRI) to strategize ways to establish NHRI's in their countries. The United States is proud to support our partners in the Pacific by encouraging open and democratic structures that will provide a voice to all citizens.
