English: Building by Jean Nouvel, Anděl (en Angel), Smíchov, Prague, an angel from Wings of Desire looks from its facade. A house with a statue of an angel on its facade used to be there, demolished in the 1980s when a metro station was build (the public transport station was renamed from Anděl to Moskevská [after Moscow] at that time). ČKD Tatra-T3 tram passing by - the tram was manufactured in the former Ringoffer factory, whose entrance gate was 100 meters from Anděl (in 1999 demolished, replaced by supermarket). A Jewish synagogue in the shadow. |
