Description
English: The Soho House in Berlin has a rich history.

Address: Torstrasse 1, Berlin. 1920s: Built as Jonass & Co department store in architectural style "Neue Sachlichkeit" by Georg Bauer and Siegfried Friedlander. 1933: Jewish shareholders pushed aside. 1930s: Used as headquarter for nazi organisation Reich Youth Leadership. 1945: Headquarter of the polit buro of the East German Communist Party. 1950s: Institute of Marxism-Leninism, and archive of the Party.
