Description

Este portal pertence aos Solar da família Pina, de onde se destacam as figuras de Fernão de Pina e Rui de Pina. Entre os descendentes encontra-se Lopes Fernandes de Pina que veio a casar em Montemor-o-Velho com Leonor Gonçalves, filha de Pedro Gonçalves, cavaleiro-vassalo do rei D. João I e mulher Maria de Góis.

Este fixou residência em Montemor, "construiu uns grandes passos cercados e coroados de ameias". Porta de verga curva e cimalha sobrepujada por concha, enquadrada por duas colunas dóricas em frente de pilastras colocadas em diagonal. Sobre as colunas, dois vasos espiralados com fogaréus e no espaldar as armas dos Pinas.
