Čeština: Sousoší svatých jáhnů Jiřího a Agapita u cesty ke kostelu sv. Petra a Pavla v Mimoni.
Ostatky svatých jáhnů a mučedníků Jiřího a Agapita byly v roce 1647 vyzvednuty z římských katakomb a byly přivezeny od papeže Alexandra VII. do Mimoně, kde v den svěcení kostela byly vystaveny po obou stranách hlavního oltáře: svatého Jiří na epištolní (pravé) a svatého Agapita na evangelní (levé) straně oltáře. Ve skříňce sv. Agapita byla i nádoba s jeho krví. Není zřejmé, zda by mělo jít o Agapita z Parestriny (u něj ovšem nebývá zmiňováno, že by byl jáhnem, a není spojován s žádným Jiřím a byl zabit v mladickém věku), stejně tak je obtížné najít zmínky, kdo byl jáhen Jiří. |
