Summary[edit]

Description A red circle illustrates where contractors for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will construct a new concrete flood wall along Morrison Creek in south Sacramento, Calif. The 3,300-foot-long flood wall will extend an existing flood wall, further reducing flood risk in the area. The work is a joint effort between the Corps, the Central Valley Flood Protection Board and the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency. Completion is scheduled for 2013.
