Description
English: The Soyuz TMA-01M rocket launches from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan (Oct. 7 in the U.S., Oct. 8 in Kazakhstan) carrying Expedition 25 crew members – Russian cosmonaut Alexander Kaleri, Soyuz commander; NASA astronaut Scott Kelly and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, both flight engineers – to the International Space Station. Their Soyuz TMA-01M rocket launched at 5:10 a.m Kazakhstan time.
