Description

Tram no 48 and trailer on the route nr 2, Halberstadt. This section was on single line kerb running. 1000 mm track.

48 was one of several ex Cottbus Gotha trams, manufactured in Prague by CKD after tram construction in the RGW/Comecon area was concentrated on Czechoslovakia, which arried in Halberstadt in 1987. Externally they resemble the DDR made Gotha trams, and were manufactured in 1967-8. This one was scrapped in 1994.
