Deutsch: Der Standort des Brunnens ist auf die Anfrage im Abgeordnetenhaus mit Oranienburger Chaussee 8 (PLZ: 13465) notiert. Diese Stelle liegt im Winkel am östlichen Stadtrand Berlins und vor dem nordöstlichen Grundstück der Oranienburger Chaussee mit der Leipziger Straße. Jedoch gehört letztere bereits zu Glienicke/Nordbahn einer Brandenburger Gemeinde. Über die Chaussee hinweg[1] beginnt der Edelhoffdamm zwischen dessen Richtungsfahrbahnen der „Joseph Brix und Franz Genzmer Park“ liegt. An dieser Berliner Ecke verlief bis 1990 die Berliner Mauer. Diese Brunnensäule aus vier Abschnitte steht auf dem unbestigten Randstreifen des östlichen Gehsteigs in einem kleinen Pflastermosaik. Der Brunnenfuß ist mit sechs Schrauben am Sockelrohr befestigt. Der Wasserablauf gelangt auf eine Platte mit valer Mulde. |

- ↑ Die Stadt- und damit Landesgrenze geht von der Nordseite Leipziger Straße über die Chaussee und führt an deren Westseite nach Süden, dadurch endet der Edelhofdamm an der Landesgrenze. Aus Mauerzeiten entstammt die schräge Ecke an der Nordwestecke, um einen Durchgang über das unbebaute Chausseegrundstück 22 entlang der Mauer zu schaffen. Hier steht ein Mauerteil auf Frohnauer Boden. Vor dem Mauerbau lag die Ecke des Grundstücks Edelhifdamm 71 direkt an der Landesgrenze.
