Description
English: Seal showing arms of Strobridge (Or, over water proper on a bridge of three arches gules a tower of the last and a pennon hoisted thereon, with crescent for difference.Vivian, Lt.Col. J.L., (Ed.) The Visitations of the County of Devon: Comprising the Heralds' Visitations of 1531, 1564 & 1620, Exeter, 1895, p.717) attached to documents relating to feoffees of the manor of Colyton, Devon. Probably seal of Thomas Strobridge (d.1552) of Street Hayne, Colyton. (Hamilton-Rogers, p.231)
