Description
English: Fresh fruit and more are on display for shoppers, Aug. 21, 2008, at the market in Abu Jadial, a village northwest of Baghdad. The market in Quadria, a village northwest of Baghdad, was recently shut down, which forced an uneasy move for many of the Shia market sellers to the Abu Jadial market, which is predominantly Sunni. The Soldiers of Comanche Troop, 2nd Squadron 14th Cavalry "Strykehorse," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior", 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, along with the Iraqi army and the local council members, are committed to work to keep the market open and safe for all. The market remains busy, and the sellers of the old Quadria market have settled in.
