AV Solidus (21mm, 4.30 gm). Thessalonica mint. Struck 424-430 AD.
D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, helmeted, diademed, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield on arm.
GLOR ORVI-S TERRAR, emperor standing facing, holding standard in right hand and globus cruciger in left; * in left field, TESOB.
RIC X 362; Depeyrot 51/1.
Good VF, obverse edge nick.
Italiano: Teodosio II. 408-450 d.C.

D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, testa con elmo, diadema, busto con corazza guarda leggermente verso destra, tenendo una lancia sopra la spalla ed uno scudo sul braccio.
GLOR ORVI-S TERRAR, l'imperatore in piedi di fronte, tiene uno stendardo nella sua mano destra ed un globo crucigero nella sinistra; * sulla parte sinistra, TESOB.
