Description La activación de linfocitos T es desencadenada cuando un linfocito encuentra su antígeno correspondiente, acoplado a una molécula de MHC en la superficie de una célula infectada o fagocito. Los linfocitos T contribuyen al sistema inmune en dos formas principales: algunos dirigen y regulan las respuestas inmunes; otros atacan directamente células infectadas o cancerígenas.
