Summary[edit]

Description

My video was taken on a British Airways flight from Las Vegas to London, flight 2276.

Just a few weeks later the very same flight had an engine explode on takeoff and go on fire. Everyone had to escape down slides onto the runway. It was big news at the time and videos of the event were on the news everywhere.

Fortunately ( ! ) my flight was trouble free. Watch - as we lined up on the runway, another Boeing (a 737 of Southwest) approaching to land on the parallel runway. We see it land and as we take to the air we see it again, below us, taxying to the terminal.

My video is a little shaky at times as the camera (Nikon D7100) was hand-held. I hope it doesn't spoil it too much.
