Description

This tall stemmed cup represents a special type of high-quality jade vessel used to hold a liquid called sweet dew, believed to be magical, which came from streams on mountains or on the isles of the immortals. Drinking the sweet dew and eating dates was believed to strengthen one's health and immune system. This diet could eventually transform a person into an adept who could rise to heaven and float freely in the sky.
