English: The cells were treated as Movie S1 except included the addition of ZM447439 (2 µM) at 10 min after purvalanol A treatment (30 µM). Purvalanol A initially induced the polarization of mitotic spindles growing toward the growing furrow. The images were captured every 5 min upon ZM447439 addition using 2D-SIM. Sequential Aurora B inhibition efficiently depolarized the monopolar spindles and inhibited furrowing activity followed by furrow regression. |
