St. Paul, Minnesota June 30, 2018 About 100 peopled rallied outside the Minnesota capitol building to criticize the Republican tax plan and call for the release of Donald Trump's tax returns. They criticized the Republican tax plan for increasing the tax burden on Minnesotans and decreasing services for those in need. They called for laws requiring standardized reporting of all donors to political organizations. They demanded a more equitable tax code that closes loopholes for the wealthy and big corporations. The protest had the unfortunate fate of being postponed from April due to a blizzard, and then the new date happened to become the date for national immigration protests. Over 5000 went to the immigration protest in Minneapolis this day, but fewer than 100 showed up for this event. 2018-06-30 This is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License.
