Description West Sacramento City Councilmember Chris Ledesma talks to students at Westmore Oaks Elementary School in West Sacramento, California, about flood risk where they live during a California Flood Preparedness Week event at the school Oct. 21, 2014. Representatives from the California Department of Water Resources and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District were also on hand to help educate students about their flood risk and how they and their families can be prepared for flood emergencies.
