Onder de voorstelling het opschrift: Richteren XI VS 30 enz. Vervaardiging Vervaardiger: tegelbakker: Tegelbakkerij aan de Schiedamsedijktegelbakker: De Bloempoteigenaar fabriek: Jan Aalmis Plaats vervaardiging: Rotterdam Datering: 1755 - 1788 Materiaal: aardewerk tinglazuur Techniek: majolica Afmetingen: geheel: h 177 cm. × b 110 cm. × d 6,5 cm. Toelichting De voorstelling is gebaseerd op een prent van J. G. Wagner (1706-1786) naar een schilderij van Guiseppe Zocchi (1675-1757). Museum Rotterdam bezit een tegeltableau met dezelfde voorstelling, stammend uit de periode dat de tegelfabriek onder leiding stond van Laurens Verwijk (1788-1842). (inv. nr. 5517). De werktekeningen naar de prenten van Wagner zijn doorgegeven en bleven gebruikt, toen het bedrijf van eigenaar verwisselde. Een werktekening van Aalmis met een voorstelling van Hagar en Ismael naar een schilderij van Amigoni is gebwaard gebleven in het Gemeentearchief Rotterdam. (I. de Jager, N.
