Description
English:
Bodajki-tó (Lake Bodajk) in fact is a pond. Max deep: 2-2.5m Size: less one hectare. The lake formerly fed by natural healing springs. In the 1920s started coal mining in the area, as a result, the medicinal springs dried up. From mid 19th century used as bathing place. In the 1990s it began to be artificially fed from a well drilled to a depth of 170 m, so it became a bathing place again, functioning as a beach in the summer season and skating place in the winter season. After the coal mining discontinued end of tth 1990s, mid 2000s the thermal baths erupted again, the natural sources provoked algaegrowth and seaweed. - between Ady Endre Street and Petőfi Sándor Street, Bodajk, Fejér County, Hungary
