Summary[edit]

Description
English: Testing diodes with an electrostatic machine and an electroscope. Microwave diodes are very good for low-leakage applications. Stacks of 1N4007 diodes work too, but can be damaged if a rupture occurs with a significant capacitance across the diodes. The damage appears as increased leakage.
