LPCD stage cells displaying tonoplast rupture and subsequent events. This video depicts vacuolar swelling, displacing the nucleus toward the PM. Following this, the tonoplast ruptures, allowing the nucleus to be temporarily liberated. The nucleus then condenses. Following this, the tonoplast shrinks and PM collapse follows closely. Approximately 200X sped up. |
