English: L.C. copy no. 18, with 63 items. Charts dated 1775 to 1780. Consists of charts and views of the Nova Scotia series and of the combined St. Lawrence-New York sections. The engr. general t.p. of v. 1 is the original issue, dated 1777. The general title to the 2d volume is omitted. Sectional title pages to the St. Lawrence and New York sections are dated 1780. Vol. 1 has a printed table of contents listing 39 items in 2 columns, with ms. additions and deletions in both. The table of contents of the combined St. Lawrence-New York sections lists 27 items on a narrow folio sheet. The first 13 items are engraved without numbering and include the price of each item in shillings. The remaining items are in manuscript. Cf. H. N. Stevens.
