Description
English: This is a pdf file of a cropped article from the Boston Globe of a Syrian immigrant who arrived to the U.S in 1891. The newspaper is dated June 30, 1894. Elias Halaby who came to the U.S from Damascus, Syria with his two sons, the elder Habib 15 years old and the younger, Najeeb 13 years old whose grandson, Najeeb junior, becomes CEO of Pan American airlines.
